Painting is priced per square foot of wall surface, not per square foot of flat. As a rule of thumb the paintable area of a home works out to roughly 3 to 3.5 times its carpet area, because you are painting walls and ceilings rather than floor.

So a 1,200 sqft 3BHK has somewhere around 3,600–4,200 sqft of paintable surface. At our economy emulsion rate of ₹17–23/sqft that is roughly ₹65,000–₹95,000, and at premium emulsion (₹23–33/sqft) roughly ₹85,000–₹1,35,000 — labour, materials and full prep included.

Treat that as a bracket, not a quotation. Ceiling height, the condition of your existing walls and how much putty they need all move the number. We measure every wall on the free site visit and give you an itemised figure the same day.

For an occupied 2–3BHK repaint with proper prep, plan on 4 to 7 working days. Fresh walls that need full putty work take longer, and exteriors depend on weather.

Whatever the number is for your home, it goes in your agreement as a start date and an end date before we begin.

No. Most of our jobs are done in occupied homes. We work room by room, move furniture to the centre and sheet it, mask floors, fittings and switches, and clean up at the end of every session rather than only on the last day.

If you would rather we finish faster in an empty flat, tell us and we will schedule it that way.

Included. Every rate on this page covers both labour and materials — paint, putty, primer, sandpaper, masking, the lot.

We also share the invoices for every tin of paint used on your job, so you can confirm you got the product and the quantity you were quoted for.

Distemper is the budget option — fine for low-traffic rooms, but it does not take washing.

Emulsion is the standard choice for most homes: washable, better coverage, and it holds its colour far longer. Economy and premium grades differ mainly in how many wipes the surface survives and how evenly it covers.

Luxury and super-luxury emulsions give a smoother, silkier finish, lower VOC (less smell, safer around children), and much better stain resistance. They are worth it in living rooms, kitchens and anywhere hands touch the wall.

October to March. Exterior coatings need dry walls and a dry cure, so painting immediately before or during the monsoon traps moisture behind the film and is the single most common cause of peeling a year later.

On freshly plastered walls we also wait a minimum 28-day cure before any coating goes on, whatever the season.

Peeling, flaking or blistering of our paintwork under normal use is covered for 12 months from handover — we come back and repaint it, at no charge and without an argument.

The warranty does not cover new seepage or structural damp unless waterproofing was part of your contract, since that is the wall failing rather than the paint. The full terms are printed on your invoice.
